James Jordan is an American actor. He portrays Ed Simmons[1] on Paramount+'s Mayor of Kingstown.

Jordan was born in Houston, Texas on March 14, 1979. He was born in Texas and raised in Webb City, Missouri, where he graduated in 1997 from Webb City High School. Jordan attended Missouri Southern University in Joplin and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television.
Jordan has starred in several prime-time television dramas, including Without a Trace, Seraphim Falls, Just Legal, Cold Case, Close to Home, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, in which he played two distinct characters (Lucky, a janitor at Neptune High, and Tim Foyle).
